CompostBag® compostable trash bags are:

made from renewable plant materials (milk thistle - MaterBi raw material)
locally and sustainably produced in Belgium (Herent)
fully compostable (OK COMPOST) and European EN13432 certification
Environmentally friendly and hygienic
These freestanding collection bags are strong and robust, stand on their own and do not require a container. Our CompostBag® compostable garbage bags are fully compostable and OK COMPOST certified. In addition, they are also EN13432 certified in accordance with European regulations.

Disadvantages
- the bags have a limited shelf life because they are compostable: so use them within one year from the date of manufacture (you can find it on the print).

Note
The Compost Bag Company does not recommend purchasing large quantities of items at once. Compostable bags retain their positive properties for up to 1 year from the date of manufacture, after which they begin to disintegrate.
